The staff in the restaurants were super however especially La Cabanne, what a lovely chilled vibe.
Management please visit Hilton Vilamoura in Portugal to really see an amazing consistent culture across a resort, with the General Manager always walking around and genuinely helping his team, but it needs to start with the front of house receptionists.
No beach towels on day 1 from midday - kept checking for 3 hours!. Overall we were disappointed, management you could make this resort so much better with a stepped change in the culture, and please start with the receptionists (no warm welcome and we were there for 6 nights not cruise guests just there for a day or two, absolutely no details on the hotel and check out was equally awful), the coffee shop lady was also miserable which was a shame when picking up your first coffee every morning, the infinity pool area lacked sun loungers and I don’t understand why the beach sun loungers had padding but the pool loungers were hard metal.
